I've been building models and miniatures for over 50 years and I have to say this was the most fun, most challenging, and most satisfying one I've made yet. The pieces are precision and the instructions have excellent diagrams making this a superb miniature piece of engineering. I love watching and listening to it operate. I'll be getting Aetherwings to ad to it soon.
No instructions how to troubleshoot.

It needed a lot of disassembly, reassembly, a few modifications and a little grease to assemble this pretty model. It wasn't always easy, but the object is beautiful and I had a lot of fun, apart from the occasional head-scratching. 😂 Sometimes there's so much play involved that things can quickly go awry. But here we are!
I love it, instructions were perfect, all parts were there. Very satisfying to build. Can’t wait for next project to build.
All parts included plus extras. Very fun project. Needed to adjust at end of build. Needed to change some building to make work properly. Oiled with 3n1 to help run smooth.
Really enjoyed building this model, so intricate. You do need a pair of good tweezers to grip the tiny parts but that part of the fun. You can even embellish the model with the left over spare parts. I thought the little propeller would be better if it moved. I could figure out a way to get a drive band to it so I figured out that it was ferrous so a magnet would effect it. Have a look at my picture, the bolt I added is attached to the lower slide so it rocks back and forth and I put a magnet on the other end in close proximity to the propeller so when the model runs the propeller moves back an forth too. Great fun.
This is a fun project to assemble. It’s just difficult enough to be a challenge without being frustrating.
Well designed, very detailed pictorial instructions, nice that tools were included (although I also used some of my own). Definitely some mechanical skill required to minimize frustration. I did find that I needed to apply a “thread locker” to the drive gear to prevent it from loosening (this was not in the instructions though). Also, be careful about getting your fingers in the mechanism while running after you finish it, there is enough torque to pinch your fingers!
